About the Role
As a Roadway Maintenance Section Assistant, you will lead transportation maintenance crews, assist in budget preparation, issue driveway permits, oversee contracted crews, plan emergency responses, inspect road conditions, and maintain records. You will also train employees and serve as a lead worker in the absence of the supervisor.
About You
Required:
- High School Graduate or equivalent in general education.
- 6 years of experience in roadway maintenance or construction related work.
- Valid driver's license and Class 'A' Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Must obtain 'N' endorsement within 90 days from date of employment.
Preferred:
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with 'N' endorsement.
