About the Role
As a Robotics Engineer specializing in perception and sensor fusion, you will be responsible for integrating and synchronizing multi-modal sensors, developing sensor calibration techniques, and improving the performance of perception algorithms. You will work on detecting and estimating object poses and dimensions in challenging environments, contributing to the advancement of warehouse automation technologies.
About You
Required:
- Minimum B.S. in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
- Proficient in C++ (modern standards), Python, and ROS 1/ROS 2.
- Familiar with industrial 3D cameras, LiDARs, IMUs, radar sensors, and synchronized data acquisition.
- Deep understanding of multi-sensor calibration techniques (e.g., hand-eye, LiDAR–camera extrinsics).
- Strong problem-solving skills and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex technical concepts clearly to cross-functional teams.
Preferred:
- Exposure to SLAM-lite or marker-based mapping approaches (AprilTags, ArUco).
