About the Role
As a Rolling Stock/Mobile Equipment Mechanic, you will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on various mobile equipment, diagnose hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and diesel engine systems, conduct safety inspections, troubleshoot breakdowns, and collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to prioritize repairs.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of industrial or heavy equipment mechanical experience
- Strong working knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple repair priorities
- Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and respond to breakdowns as needed
Preferred:
- Welding and fabrication experience
