About the Role
As an RTS Ontario Bus Driver, you will be responsible for picking up customers in response to service requests, assisting with boarding and debarking, recording activities on a trip log, and inspecting the vehicle before departure. You will work in a union environment and must maintain professionalism while interacting with a diverse population of passengers.
About You
Required:
- Valid NY State Commercial Driver's License (Class A, B, or C) with passenger endorsement and no seating restrictions.
- Clean driving record and at least 5 years of regular Class D driving experience.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to pass post-offer 19A physical.
Preferred:
- Experience driving in a public transportation environment.
- Familiarity with local routes and traffic regulations.
Benefits
- Hourly rate starting at $19.58, increasing to $21.43 after the probationary period.
