About the Role
About You
- Master’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
- Current Georgia licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN).
- At least two (2) years of experience as a nurse practitioner or in a directly related role.
- Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification.
- Clinical experience in HIV care, infectious disease, STI management, or sexual health services.
- Experience working in public health, community health, or underserved populations.
- Familiarity with Ryan White program standards.

The Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH) is the lead state government agency in preventing disease, injury and disability; promoting health and well-being; and preparing for and responding to disasters from a health perspective. In 2011, the General Assembly restored DPH to its own state agency after more than 30 years of consolidation with other departments.
