Amigos de Guadalupe Center for Justice & Empowerment is seeking a Safe Park/Posada Program Manager to join their team in San Jose, CA. The role involves overseeing the Posada Project/Safe Park Program and advocating for the unhoused population.
About the Role
As the Safe Park/Posada Program Manager, you will be responsible for supervising case managers, fostering relationships with outside agencies, maintaining compliance with program protocols, and ensuring the quality of life for program guests. You will also collect data to demonstrate program impact and compliance with grant requirements, develop community-building activities, and provide training to the Safe Park team.
About You
Required:
BA in Social Work or related field.
HMIS knowledge and experience.
Fluent in Spanish.
Minimum of 2 years experience working in the nonprofit sector.
Previous experience with case managing families.
Preferred:
Experience carrying out VI-SPDAT.
Knowledge of community resources and housing resources.
Excellent documentation, communication and writing skills.
Ability to work in a variety of settings with culturally diverse individuals/families.
Knowledge of social issues impacting East San Jose residents and the unhoused population.
