Summary

PSC Group is seeking a Safety and Training Supervisor to join their leadership team at a large chemical plant in Artesia, NM. The role focuses on driving safety and environmental performance while mentoring and coaching employees.

About the Role

As a Safety and Training Supervisor, you will develop and maintain safety and training procedures, perform safety oversight during construction, maintain safety documentation, coordinate training, provide regulatory guidance, track safety performance, analyze improvement areas, conduct safety observations, lead incident investigations, and communicate safety expectations to employees.

About You

Required:

2-4+ years’ experience in a leadership role involving safety, training, HSE and/or operations.
18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
Stable work history with good references from past employers.
Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check.
Speak fluent English.

Preferred:

Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental or other related degree.
Experience developing safety and/or operational procedures and policies with strong technical writing skills.
Knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations.
Experience in formal incident investigation and lessons learned process.
Strong listening skills, written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient skills in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to be innovative, creative and a proven self-motivated, team-oriented attitude.
Previous military experience.
