Environmental Air Systems is seeking a Safety Coordinator - RTP to join their team in Raleigh, NC. The role involves promoting and ensuring a safe working environment on construction sites through the implementation of safety programs and compliance with safety regulations.
About the Role
As a Safety Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and enforcing site-specific safety programs, conducting regular site inspections, providing safety training, investigating incidents, ensuring compliance with safety standards, managing personal protective equipment (PPE), and fostering a proactive safety culture on construction sites.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in safety management, construction management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in construction safety or a related field.
- OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety Certification.
- OSHA 510 Certification.
- STSC Certification.
- Competent Person Training (Fall Protection and Excavations).
Preferred:
- First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
- Additional safety certifications (e.g., Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Associate Safety Professional (ASP)).
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and other construction safety standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
