Summary
Lead Advisor is seeking a Sales Consultant to join their team remotely in NJ/CT/NY. The role involves creating broker distribution networks to promote health insurance products and help employers reduce their health insurance costs while maintaining employee benefits.
About the Role
As a Sales Consultant, you will identify potential strategic broker partners, sell to customers in the 10-99 employee range through broker partners, and be accountable for the prospect from presale through implementation. You will provide necessary broker support for successful education and implementation of the company products, develop and maintain key internal relationships, and present a positive image of the firm in the marketplace.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree and minimum of 5 years of insurance experience in a sales capacity.
- History of new business sales success.
- Strong network of group health insurance brokers and consultants.
Preferred:
- State Health Insurance License.
- Public speaking ability to present to business owners, brokers and employees.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- Sales Force database experience.
- Virtual meeting experience utilizing Zoom and Microsoft Teams technologies.
