Amigo is seeking a Sales Engineer, Applied AI to join their team in New York, NY. The role involves building proof-of-concept agents and delivering technical demonstrations to showcase AI capabilities in healthcare.
About the Role
As a Sales Engineer at Amigo, you will be responsible for creating rapid prototypes and demo environments tailored to specific clinical use cases. You will partner with the sales team during technical discovery, design live demonstrations, and translate customer pain points into working agent experiences. This role requires a strong technical background to bridge the gap between product capabilities and customer needs, while also staying current on AI developments.
About You
Required:
3+ years of experience in sales engineering, solutions engineering, or a technical pre-sales role at a SaaS or AI company.
Strong hands-on coding ability, particularly in Python.
Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and building on AI platforms.
Ability to present to technical and executive audiences and handle objections live.
Preferred:
Experience in healthcare technology or regulated industries.
Background as a software engineer who moved into a customer-facing role.
Familiarity with healthcare workflows, EHR systems, or clinical terminology.
Understanding of healthcare compliance requirements (HIPAA, SOC 2).
