Summary

About the Role

As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for increasing sales volume through leadership of outside sales teams and implementation of targeted sales plans. You will ensure the achievement of sales targets by motivating and training the sales force, fostering a high-performance culture, and expanding market share and customer base within the assigned region. This position plays a pivotal role in aligning sales initiatives with overall business objectives to maximize revenue and profitability.

About You

Required:

Proven experience in regional sales management or a similar leadership role.
Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales strategies that increase sales volume.
Strong background in outside sales and managing sales teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and train sales personnel.
Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to inform decision-making.

Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
3+ years in B2B sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the office technology, IT Solutions, or managed services industry.
Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas.
Previous experience working in the Albany region or similar markets.
Advanced leadership training or certifications in sales management.
