Crossnore Communities for Children is seeking House Parents to join their Bridging Families program in Western North Carolina. The role involves providing care for children in a home environment while supporting their birth parents in reunification efforts.
About the Role
As House Parents, you will be responsible for caring for up to 6 children in a live-in setting, establishing daily routines, managing appointments and documentation, preparing meals, and participating in activities. You will also coach birth parents on effective parenting skills and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide trauma-informed care.
About You
Required:
High School Diploma/GED required.
Minimum of two years experience working with children and families, preferably in a mental health or child welfare setting.
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in human services or related field.
Prior residential/house parent or foster parent experience.
