Summary
Withum is seeking a Real Estate Valuation Senior Associate to join their team in San Francisco, CA. The role involves performing accounting, auditing, advisory, and tax functions for a diverse client base in real estate valuation.
About the Role
As a Real Estate Valuation Senior Associate, you will assist audit, tax, and advisory teams in developing the scope of work for real estate valuation engagements. Your responsibilities will include analyzing physical and financial characteristics of properties, performing site visits, researching real estate markets, conducting independent appraisals, and assisting in appraisal reviews of third-party reports. You will also attend industry meetings and perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in any field.
- 2 – 6 years of experience in real estate valuation or related fields.
- Ability to commute to one of the office locations.
Preferred:
- Excellent interpersonal and computer skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Adobe; familiarity with Argus is a plus.
- Certified General Appraiser or qualified to sit for the state licensing exam.
