Clay is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead and grow a high-performing engineering team in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The role involves taking ownership of the team's mission and objectives while ensuring high-quality solutions are delivered on time.
About the Role
As an Engineering Manager at Clay, you will define team purpose and areas of ownership, plan and prioritize staffing, build and maintain team culture, hire and onboard top engineering talent, contribute to engineering-wide initiatives, and own the outcomes for your team. You will work cross-functionally with product, design, support, and other engineering teams to help scale and improve the product.
About You
Required:
2+ years of management experience in software development.
6+ years of overall software development experience.
Experience managing and coaching 3+ direct reports.
Preferred:
Familiarity with the tech stack including React, Typescript, Python, Node.js, and AWS services.
Experience in building scalable, high-performance systems with a focus on customer delight.
