Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Tactical Networks Systems Engineer to join their team in San Diego, CA. The role involves leading engineering efforts to develop, operate, and maintain complex technology systems for Navy missions.
About the Role
As a Tactical Networks Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for translating customer needs into technical specifications, designing and developing systems, and evolving them with advanced technology solutions. You will work on capability analysis, requirements definition, system test and integration, and writing technical documentation. This position allows you to broaden your skills in model-based systems engineering and big data management.
About You
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, Mathematics, or Physical Science and 2+ years of experience with engineering and systems architectures for DoD systems, or 4+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
TS/SCI clearance.
Experience with capability analysis, requirements definition and management, system test and integration, writing technical documentation, and creating design artifacts.
Experience with Navy operations, C4I systems, and Submarine Networks.
Preferred:
Experience with network engineering concepts and technologies.
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Master’s degree in Engineering.
CCNA, ASEP, Network+, PMP, or Security+ Certification.
