About the Role
As a SCADA Specialist, you will manage and maintain instrumentation and controls (I&C) equipment, existing SCADA software programs, and develop new operational reports from SCADA data. You will troubleshoot and repair software problems, ensure data integrity, and coordinate maintenance of SCADA PC hardware. The position requires collaboration with Water and Wastewater Plant supervisors and vendors to meet operational needs.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma required.
- Comprehensive technical background in overall computer hardware/software use, with emphasis on database development and management.
- Electrical and instrumentation experience preferred.
- A valid Texas State Driver's License is required.
Preferred:
- College-level or other formal classroom education preferred.
- Ability to think critically for problem solving scenarios and evaluate economic technical solutions.
