About the Role

As a Scheduler Sr., you will be responsible for scheduling new patients, patient referrals, and returning patients in the computer system according to physician guidelines. You will handle incoming calls, direct them to appropriate personnel, and maintain the office scheduling template. Additionally, you will collect co-pays, manage insurance authorizations, and ensure patient confidentiality while adhering to compliance programs.

About You

Required:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
0-3 years of experience in a medical office setting.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) required.

Preferred:

Knowledge of medical terminology, scheduling, and/or authorization experience.
Minimum three years of office experience, preferably in a medical office setting for Level 2.
Minimum five years of office experience, preferably in a medical office setting for Level Sr.
Knowledge of medical terminology and coding required for Level Sr.
