About the Role
As a Scheduling Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating appointments, procedures, and treatments across departments to ensure efficient utilization of resources and high-quality patient care. Your daily tasks will include scheduling patient appointments, notifying patients of confirmations or changes, entering patient information into electronic health records, and working closely with medical staff to align appointments with clinical priorities. You will also manage cancellations and no-shows, provide administrative assistance, and ensure compliance with policies and standards.
About You
Required:
- Strong knowledge of appointment scheduling and patient flow management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred:
- Associate Degree or certification in Healthcare Administration or related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in medical scheduling or administrative support.
