About the Role
As a Power Electronics Engineer Intern, you will work with a cross-functional R&D team to assist in the design and development of high voltage, high density DC-DC power converters and Uninterruptible Power Supply systems. Your responsibilities will include utilizing simulation tools for modeling and analysis, assisting in the development of power converters, performing lab testing and validation of electrical components, and participating in benchmarking analysis and documentation.
About You
Required:- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong background in electrical courses and lab work.
- Proficiency in engineering tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, LTSpice.
- Good lab testing skills and hands-on experience with electrical components.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Currently local to Andover, MA and able to work full-time in person.
Preferred:- Familiarity with switched mode power supply design.
- Familiarity with schematics and layout capture tools such as Cadence.
- Knowledge in working with DSP and embedded systems.
- Understanding of high-voltage, isolated power converter topologies.
