Summary
Acquire4Hire is seeking a School Age Teacher to work primarily with elementary age school kids in Colbert, WA. The role involves maintaining a safe environment, planning activities, and supervising play.
About the Role
As a School Age Teacher, you will be responsible for supervising groups of 5-15 children, facilitating their play both indoors and outdoors, and assisting with homework. You will also perform light cleaning duties, keep your classroom organized, and attend staff meetings and training sessions.
About You
Required:
- Must be 18 years of age.
- CPR certified.
- Proof of TB test pass.
- Completed fingerprinting.
- Proof of passed background check.
- Minimum of 1+ years experience in a group childcare setting.
- High energy and ability to work well with others.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
- A strong understanding of child development.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
- Food handlers certification.
- HIV training.
- First Aid training.
- Blood Borne Pathogens course.
- 30 hour Child Care Basics class or ability to take it upon hire.
- One year experience.
