About the Role
About You
- A graduate degree from an accredited institution, preferably in educational leadership.
- Valid New York State School Building Leader (SBL) or School District Leader (SDL) certification preferred.
- Three to five (5) years of proven leadership experience in education.
- At least three (3) years of experience in a school/clinic setting with special education students.
- In-depth knowledge of best practices in special education.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness and ability to assist in physical restraint if necessary.
- Experience in a leadership or administrative role within a special education setting.
- Training in crisis intervention and de-escalation strategies.
