About the Role
As a School Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for being a visible presence in the school during transition periods, investigating incidents, and acting as a liaison to local law enforcement. You will assist with emergency planning, supervise student movements, and provide technical assistance in safety and security matters.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Possess a valid Massachusetts Driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Current authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred:
- Experience or training in working with adolescents in urban public school settings.
- Experience working in a multi-cultural/multi-ethnic setting.
- Bilingual.
- Computer literacy.
- College degree in Criminal Justice, Sociology, or other related fields.
- CPR/AED first Aid Training Certification.
Benefits
