DREAM is seeking an Elementary School PE Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year in Bronx, NY. The role involves building relationships with students and implementing a curriculum aligned with NYS Learning Standards.
About the Role
As a PE Teacher, you will create a culture of high achievement, design and implement a standards-aligned curriculum, participate in collaborative planning, track student progress, analyze data to inform instruction, and maintain strong relationships with students and families. You will also lead extracurricular activities and fulfill additional school-related duties.
About You
Required:
- Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- New York State certification in subject area preferred.
- At least two years of teaching experience with a record of improving student achievement preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Expertise in aligned content area.
- Desire to make a difference in the lives of students and families.
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
