AbbVie is seeking a Scientific Director, Medical Affairs - Hematology, Blastic Plasmacytoid Dendritic Cell Neoplasm to join their team in Florham Park, NJ. The role involves providing strategic and operational input into Medical Affairs activities for AbbVie's Hematology portfolio.
About the Role
As a Scientific Director, you will lead external stakeholder interactions, generate scientific insights, and drive evidence generation to enhance understanding of therapeutic benefits. You will collaborate with various teams to support asset launch and executional excellence, develop scientific communication plans, and engage with key opinion leaders in the BPDCN community.
About You
Required:
Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, or equivalent) required.
Significant experience (minimum 7-10 years) in the pharmaceutical industry or equivalent, with demonstrated clinical trial or medical affairs experience.
Minimum 4 years of clinical trials experience in the pharmaceutical industry or academia.
Deep understanding of hematologic malignancies.
Preferred:
Additional post doctorate experience highly preferred.
Experience in rare diseases, BPDCN, or related fields.
Proven strategic leadership, influencing, and collaboration skills in cross-functional environments.
