About the Role
As a Scientific Software Engineer / Computational Scientist, you will design and implement memory-efficient algorithms for large-scale 3D voxel data, develop kernels using C++ and Python, and build volumetric Boolean operations for geological modeling. You will also architect and train high-resolution 3D generative AI models and experiment with neural style transfer to enhance simulation realism.
About You
Required:
- Expert proficiency in Python, with experience in NumPy, SciPy, and CuPy.
- Strong C++ skills for performance-critical coding.
- Solid understanding of advanced mathematics, including linear algebra and vector calculus.
- Hands-on experience with PyTorch, particularly in generative AI and computer vision applications.
- Practical knowledge of CUDA, OpenMP, or parallel computing.
- MS or PhD in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Computational Physics, or related fields.
Preferred:
- Background in structural modeling, sedimentology, tectonics, or geostatistics.
- Portfolio or GitHub showcasing scientific simulators or procedural world-building.
