Insmed is seeking a Scientist II, Histologist to join their team in San Diego, CA. The role involves applying specialized histological and molecular techniques to analyze and visualize the effects of therapeutic gene delivery and expression in tissue samples.

As a Scientist II, Histologist, you will be responsible for sample processing and preparation, performing molecular and specialized staining techniques, conducting analysis and quality control, developing innovative methods, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support gene therapy research and development programs.
About You
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Histology, Biology, Medical Laboratory Science, or related field.
3-6+ years of histology experience in a research or clinical setting.
Demonstrated expertise in immunohistochemistry (IHC), in situ hybridization (ISH), and advanced histology methods.
Preferred:
Advanced degree (M.S.) in a relevant field.
HT(ASCP) or HTL(ASCP) certification.
Familiarity with preclinical animal models and tissue-based biomarker discovery.
