As a Scientist II, Histologist, you will be responsible for sample processing and preparation, performing molecular and specialized staining techniques, conducting analysis and quality control, developing innovative methods, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support gene therapy research and development programs.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Histology, Biology, Medical Laboratory Science, or related field.
- 3-6+ years of histology experience in a research or clinical setting.
- Demonstrated expertise in immunohistochemistry (IHC), in situ hybridization (ISH), and advanced histology methods.
Preferred:
- Advanced degree (M.S.) in a relevant field.
- HT(ASCP) or HTL(ASCP) certification.
- Familiarity with preclinical animal models and tissue-based biomarker discovery.
