About the Role
As a Scientist-II, you will be responsible for performing high volume sample testing across multiple preclinical and clinical stage biologics programs, including proteins and antibody-drug conjugates. You will utilize various analytical techniques such as Liquid Chromatography and electrophoretic methods, and ensure compliance with safety and quality practices. The position requires strong documentation practices and the ability to work independently in a lab environment.
About You
Required:
- BA/BS with 6 years of relevant experience, MS with 4 years, or Ph.D. with 1-2 years of experience in analytical chemistry or biologics testing lab.
- Experience with separations for large molecules or plate-based assays.
- Proficiency in analyzing biologics including monoclonal antibodies using techniques like HPLC, SEC, IEX, and CE-SDS.
- Basic instrumentation troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Applications.
- Good documentation practices using electronic lab notebooks.
Preferred:
- Experience with analytical software such as Empower.
- Experience with plate-based methods like ELISA.
- Familiarity with compendial testing such as UV 280, pH, and Physical Observations.
