About the Role
As a Medical Scribe, you will accompany physicians into patient examination rooms to transcribe history and physical exams, document physician-patient encounters, and manage electronic medical records. You will also assist with clinical support tasks such as greeting patients, recording vital signs, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and HIPAA guidelines.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Typing proficiency of 55+ words per minute.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of medical terms and abbreviations.
- Strong proficiency in computer usage, Microsoft Office Applications, telephone, fax, and other office systems.
- Comfortable using EKG machines, sphygmomanometers, and basic clinical tools.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
