Upstate Cerebral Palsy is seeking a SCSC Team Lead to join their team in Utica, NY. The role involves providing clinical and administrative oversight to a multidisciplinary team in the 24/7 Crisis Stabilization Center.
About the Role
As the SCSC Team Lead, you will oversee staff delivering crisis intervention and care coordination, ensure compliance with mental health regulations, conduct clinical assessments, and facilitate team meetings. You will support staff in managing escalated situations, oversee documentation for compliance, and serve as a liaison to community providers. Additionally, you will participate in quality assurance activities and maintain staffing and scheduling.
About You
Required:
Associate’s degree in Nursing (RN) required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in behavioral health settings, including at least 1 year of supervisory or team coordination experience.
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or a related behavioral health field.
Experience working in a high-paced crisis or emergency services setting.
Knowledge of trauma-informed care, harm reduction, and recovery-oriented practices.
