Summary
Pacific Seafood is seeking a Seasonal Seafood Processor to join their team in Newport, OR. The role involves various tasks within the production department, including butchering, sorting, filleting, and assisting with plant clean-up.
About the Role
As a Seasonal Seafood Processor, you will be responsible for cleaning, scraping, trimming, and filleting seafood products, sorting products by grade, color, and size, packing items for shipping or storage, and ensuring a clean and safe work area. You will also need to communicate effectively in English and perform basic math tasks.
About You
Required:
- At least 18 years old
Preferred:
- Prior experience with food processing equipment
- Prior food safety experience
- Prior experience in a processing environment
- Forklift experience is a plus
