VOLTAGE is seeking a Search Marketing Lead / Director to join their team in Kansas City, MO. The role involves guiding and executing search marketing campaigns for clients while balancing hands-on execution with delegation.
About the Role
As a Search Marketing Lead, you will support the Vice President of Strategy in business development, assess clients' SEM and SEO efforts, research opportunities for increased visibility, execute search campaigns, monitor performance, and collaborate to improve services and processes.
About You
Required:
At least three years of experience in a marketing agency.
At least four years of experience executing SEM or SEO campaigns.
Proficiency in Google Ads if experience is in SEM.
Proficiency in Google Business Profile and Google Search Console if experience is in SEO.
Demonstrated experience leading client relationships and guiding search strategy.
Proficiency in client communication.
Preferred:
Experience in both SEM and SEO channels.
Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Looker, and WordPress.
Proficiency in search engine research and performance tools (e.g. Ahrefs, BrightLocal).
Proficiency in website crawlers and scrapers (e.g. Screaming Frog).
