About the Role
As a Seasonal Chef Instructor, Pastry at Sur La Table, you will be the in-store expert in baking and pastry arts. Your responsibilities include creating memorable culinary experiences, driving sales through customer engagement, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. You will also assist in class setup and breakdown, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and support overall store readiness.
About You
Required:
- Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of employment.
- A degree in culinary arts is preferred; however, extensive culinary experience will be considered.
- 1-2 years of kitchen operations experience.
- Valid Food Manager Certification.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
