About the Role
As a Seasonal Construction Manager, you will serve as the construction project manager for transportation projects, ensuring quality and safety in the construction of roads, highways, and bridges. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and inspecting contractor work, maintaining daily records of construction activities, analyzing construction schedules, and communicating project-related details to the project engineer. You will also be responsible for adhering to quality management systems and maintaining equipment.
About You
Required:
- Experience in managing and overseeing construction of roads, highways, and bridges.
- Ability to review, inspect, and test contractor work to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
Preferred:
- Previous project management and/or inspection experience on DOT or FHWA road construction projects.
- Current Professional Engineer license.
- Construction materials testing experience.
