About the Role
The Seasonal Naturalist will develop environmental educational programs for park visitors, organize activities, interpret natural and cultural resources, lead nature walks, create brochures and signage, construct and maintain trails and displays, conduct educational programs for schools and groups outside the park, prepare reports and visitor surveys, and coordinate seasonal staff and volunteers including supervision and training.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in environmental or biological science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of environmental science and natural and cultural history.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and communicate clearly both orally and in writing.
- Ability to exercise initiative, work independently, and take direction and instruction.
