COUNTY OF LEHIGH is seeking a SECRETARIAL SUPPORT II for the District Courts in Allentown, PA. The role involves providing essential clerical support for the magisterial district court operations.
About the Role
As a SECRETARIAL SUPPORT II, you will perform a variety of tasks to support the magisterial district court, including processing civil, landlord/tenant, criminal, traffic, and non-traffic cases. You will be responsible for receipting payments, preparing bank deposits, maintaining accurate accounting records, and assisting the District Court Operations Manager with daily operations. Your duties will also include scheduling trials, handling electronic filings, and performing general secretarial tasks as directed by the Magisterial District Judge.
About You
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in District Courts or similar experience that provides comparative knowledge and ability to perform required job responsibilities.
Knowledge of PA Rules of Court, Local Rules and Procedures, and AOPC Policies and Procedures.
Ability to effectively communicate information to internal and external stakeholders.
Experience in computer applications required to complete job responsibilities including MDJS, LCARS, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and various video conferencing formats.
Preferred:
Ability to travel to various locations to provide clerical support and/or attend required training.
Knowledge of Traffic, Non-Traffic, Civil, Landlord/Tenant, and Court Criminal case processing.
