About the Role
As a Security/Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for all visitors, responsible for visitor management, handling inquiries, and liaising with NYPD and NYFD on safety and security matters. Your duties will include greeting visitors, managing conflicts, responding to emergencies, and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
- Security License required.
- Previous youth based/school/community center security experience.
- Good conflict mediation and public relations skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and with minimal guidance.
Preferred:
- Valid CPR/AED Pro-certification through recognized accrediting body.
- Familiarity with visitor management software and security-related technology.
