About the Role
As a Security & Fire Lead Systems Specialist, you will act as the on-site project leader responsible for planning, executing, and completing various security system projects. Your tasks will include hardware design, system programming, installation coordination, and project closeout. You will manage project financials, maintain customer satisfaction, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
About You
Required:
- 2-5 years’ experience with installation and service of fire alarm, access control, CCTV, intrusion and intercom systems.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of electricity and electronics.
- Security experience/certification with P2000, Lenel or C-Cure 9000 required.
- Ability to effectively work independently.
- Demonstrate a high level of customer service.
- Minimum high school/trade school graduate, military, or two year Associate degree in a technical field involving electronics or computers.
- Working knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft's suite of Office software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of project accounting, costing principles and contracting preferred.
- NICET, and DCJS certification.
