All Native Group, The Federal Services Division of Ho-Chunk Inc. is seeking a full-time Security Driver Training Instructor to join their team in Blackstone, VA. The role involves planning, organizing, and presenting security driver training courses and evaluating their effectiveness.
About the Role
As a Security Driver Training Instructor, you will serve as an instructor and course manager for security driver training courses. Your responsibilities include reviewing training objectives, researching current reports related to Diplomatic Security, evaluating training effectiveness, and assisting with revisions to course content. You will also present security awareness briefings and maintain liaison with various organizations related to security driving.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma; Associates or Bachelors’ degree preferred; or 8-10 years of demonstrated work experience in the field.
- Certification as a driving instructor from a law enforcement academy or driver training school/academy.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of instructor experience, having taught at least one (1) class per week.
Preferred:
- Previous law enforcement or military instructor experience.
- Intermediate knowledge of security/antiterrorist driving principles and concepts.
- Basic knowledge of adult learning principles and methods for evaluating training effectiveness.
