As a Security Engineer II, you will design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform, develop secure production code, collaborate with cross-functional teams, monitor system performance, write test cases, provide technical support, and stay updated with industry trends.
About You
Required:
- Formal training or certification on security engineering concepts and 2+ years applied experience.
- Strong Python programming skills for automation and scripting.
- Proven experience with a variety of services in AWS or other cloud platforms (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM).
- Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC).
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong corporate communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
- Experience in Unix/Linux operating systems and shell scripting.
