About the Role
As a Security Officer Evenings, you will be responsible for making rounds, responding to and resolving problems, providing documentation, and coordinating efforts to maintain and improve safety. You will adhere to safety, infection control, and colleague health policies while maintaining a working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Valid IA driver's license and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
- Prior experience preferred.
- Mandatory Reporter certification.
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training (NVCI) within 6 months of hire.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under adverse situations.
Preferred:
- Demonstrated general working knowledge of computers and department-specific software.
- Intermediate language, basic math, and intermediate reasoning ability.
- No serious or aggravated misdemeanor or felony convictions.
