About the Role
As a Security Officer II, you will be responsible for proactive patrols, exceptional customer service, and ensuring safety in high-stress areas such as the ER and Behavioral Center. Your duties will include conducting visual inspections, maintaining a presence in critical zones, responding to emergency codes, documenting daily activities, and using various security technologies. You will also need to remain vigilant about safety concerns and assist with visitor badging.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Healthcare Security or Safety.
Preferred:
- 2-year degree in a related subject or business.
- 5 years+ experience in Law Enforcement, Corrections, or Military Police may substitute for prior Healthcare Security experience.
- Florida State G License (Security) within 12 months.
