About the Role
As a Security Officer II, you will be responsible for enforcing procedural rules and regulations, maintaining security and safety in assigned areas, patrolling the campus, operating security equipment, issuing ID badges, responding to emergencies, and managing disruptive individuals. You will also enforce parking regulations and assist with various security-related tasks as needed.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Minimum 1-year of security officer experience or 2-years active military service with Honorable Discharge.
- Valid NYS Class D driver's license and maintain eligibility of insurability.
Preferred:
- 2-year Associate Degree in Security or Law Enforcement.
- Completion of official police or peace officer training academy.
- Valid NYS Armed Security Guard License or NYS Certified Police Officer/Peace Officer.
