About the Role
As a Security Operations Technician, you will be part of a SOC team responsible for identifying security events, coordinating investigations, and implementing long-term process improvements. You will stay updated on emerging security threats and recommend new security solutions.
About You
Required:
- Familiarity with enterprise firewalls, network intrusion detection/prevention, and data loss prevention.
- Experience in a security operations center or knowledge of log analysis and system/network auditing.
Preferred:
- Security certifications such as SANS/GIAC: GSEC, ISC2: SSCP, EC-Council: ECSA, or CompTIA: Security+.
- Knowledge of a scripting language like PowerShell.
