Unlimited Technology, Inc. is seeking a Security Service Technician Embedded to join their team in Boston, MA. The role involves managing all aspects of access control and IP Video products and systems installed at client sites.
About the Role
As a Security Service Technician, you will be responsible for independently installing, programming, troubleshooting, and performing maintenance on electronic devices, power supplies, and network components. You will communicate effectively with the Field Supervisor and present a knowledgeable image to customers. Your duties will include installing and servicing Access Control and IP Video systems, programming various Access Control products, and maintaining a safe working environment.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3-5 years of field installation experience in the security environment.
- Certifications in Lenel and Genetec required.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
Preferred:
- Certifications in American Dynamics, Bosch, and/or other IP Video products.
- Experience in the installation of door hardware such as strikes and magnetic locks.
- Experience working with Turnstiles.
- Experience troubleshooting network switches.
