About the Role
As a Security Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for high-level support and implementation for cyber security, server infrastructure, network environments, and cloud architectures. Your daily tasks will include project delivery, server monitoring, and administration, as well as ensuring effective communication and customer service with clients. You will also stay current with emerging technologies and be available for off-hours or on-call assignments.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field.
- Advanced hands-on experience with security compliance (NIST, CMMC) and network security best practices.
- Experience in performing security risk assessments and vulnerability assessments.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in a managed service provider (MSP) or consulting role.
- Security certification such as CISSP, CMMC RP, Cisco Security, GSEC, or CompTIA Security+.
- Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, and hybrid cloud architectures.
