Insight Global is seeking a Senior/Principal IC Design Engineer to join their advanced connectivity team in Milpitas, CA. The role involves designing and tapeout of BiCMOS ICs for adaptive equalizers and re-drivers in high-speed copper interconnects.

About the Role

As a Senior/Principal IC Design Engineer, you will be responsible for developing cutting-edge signal conditioning ICs for data center, telecom, and networking applications. Your key responsibilities will include designing broadband high-frequency circuits, owning block-level schematic design and verification, collaborating with layout and system engineering teams, and ensuring compliance with Ethernet and custom high-speed link standards.

About You

Required:

12–25 years of experience in analog/mixed-signal IC design.
Strong background in BiCMOS circuit design.
Proven full IC tapeout experience for high-speed copper applications.
Expertise in adaptive equalizers and re-drivers.
Experience with broadband high-frequency designs operating at 75–100 GHz.
Proficiency with Cadence or Synopsys design tools.

Preferred:

Prior work on Ethernet PHYs, high-speed re-timers, equalization, or signal conditioning ICs.
Experience from companies specializing in copper connectivity.
Exposure to both custom and standards-based high-speed link designs.
