Summary
Chazin is seeking a Senior Accountant - CPA Preferred to join their fully remote team in the United States. The role involves managing clients' day-to-day accounting and finance needs with a focus on financial accuracy and compliance.
About the Role
As a Senior Accountant, you will provide comprehensive accounting services, prepare month-end close workbooks, track restricted funds, assist with grant management, manage audits, and prepare various financial filings. You will work under the guidance of the controller to assist with analysis, cash flow, and budget preparation, ensuring exceptional client service and proactive communication.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Minimum of five years general accounting experience
- Extensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and QuickBooks Online
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, project management, and communication skills
Preferred:
- CPA or CFA licensure
- Public accounting experience
- Experience in audit preparation
- Nonprofit accounting experience
