Summary
TESSCO Technologies is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. The role involves supporting financial reporting and analysis for their growing IoT distribution business.
About the Role
As a Senior Accountant, you will prepare internal financial statements and management reports in compliance with GAAP, create and maintain detailed reporting packages, analyze sales and operational expenses, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and collaborate with various departments to ensure financial accuracy. You will also participate in budgeting and forecasting, assist with audit support, and contribute to reporting automation within D365 F&O and Excel.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in distribution, electronics, or technology sectors.
- Strong working knowledge of D365 Finance & Operations (F&O) or comparable ERP systems.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, dynamic reporting).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience presenting data to non-financial audiences.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities independently.
