Summary
Beehive Industries is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team in Englewood, CO. The role involves managing key financial statement areas and ensuring compliance with US GAAP and US Government Contract Accounting.
About the Role
As a Senior Accountant, you will lead and execute monthly accounting and close activities, support government contract accounting compliance, assist in job cost reporting, manage lease accounting, and implement accounting policies and internal controls. You will also collaborate with various departments and support the annual financial statement audit process.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. CPA preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting.
- Experience in FAR, CAS, and DCAA guidelines.
- US government contract accounting experience.
- Knowledge and experience with lease accounting under ASC 842.
- Experience with NetSuite or comparable ERP environment.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred:
- Master's Degree in Accounting.
- Project-based manufacturing or industrial background.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
