About the Role
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate books and records for various State and Federal programs, ensuring adequate funds for obligations, acting as a liaison to auditors, and analyzing financial problems. You will assist with financial planning, budgeting, and reporting, while also providing indirect supervision to staff and supporting their performance.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
- 4+ years of GL accounting experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Preferred:
- Experience in the non-profit or municipal industry.
- Knowledge of state and federal funding (like HUD and EOHLC).
- Experience mentoring or coaching staff.
